Teach-in at ICASA on 17 May 2024
The the Stop Thief campaign is demanding MTN, Vodacom, Cell C and Telkom end profiteering and meet their commitments to expand affordable internet access to everyone in South Africa.
Join us on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day – 17 May 2024 for a teachin at the ICASA head office in Centurion from 10am.

We expect the teach-in to be addressed by:
- The independent regulator (ICASA) will share vital information about progress regarding the implementation of internet access obligations (see details here);
- President Ramaphosa to address his role in driving the 2022 spectrum auction (details here);
- The CEOs of the incumbent mobile operators ( MTN, Vodacom, Telkom and Cell C) will receive memorandums from the campaign.
